Shipping and insurance
Every instrument sold on Innovys is shipped by the seller, insured for its full sale price, and tracked from hand-over to delivery. This article explains who ships, what it costs, how insurance works and what to do if something arrives damaged.
Who ships the instrument
Sellers ship directly from their own location. Innovys does not hold stock. When you place an order the seller receives a packing brief with the model record, your delivery address and the insured value, and has two working days to hand the parcel to a carrier.
For heavier equipment such as bench power supplies over 30 kg or rack systems, sellers may offer freight or pick-up instead. This is shown on the offer before you buy.
Shipping costs and delivery times
Shipping is priced per seller and shown in your cart before checkout. Within Switzerland most parcels arrive one to two working days after hand-over.
Insurance and packaging
The insured value is the full sale price including VAT. Sellers must follow our packaging requirements; a claim is only refused if the seller ignored them, and in that case the seller pays, not you.
Tracking your order
As soon as the seller books the carrier, the tracking number appears on the order in My account › Orders and you receive it by email.
Damaged on arrival
Keep the packaging, photograph the damage and report it from the order within 48 hours. We open the insurance claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund.
